SSP will transfer your music to .mp3 format, create a website for your band, and upload photos, artwork, and songs to www.mp3.com. Your band's website (www.mp3.com/yourbandsname) will be maintained by SSP. Your band will be featured on SSP's mp3.com radio station. You set the price of your CD. But, most of all, you receive 50% of all sales from your CD sold off of www.mp3.com.. See below for more information about where the money goes for purchased CDs.

Usually, mp3.com takes 50% of the money off of CDs sold at mp3.com. SSP is part of the New Music Army. This means that we can recruit new artists to mp3.com and receive a portion of the money that was supposed to go to mp3.com (i.e. we don't dip into money that the band was supposed to get).
We are here to help artists, not screw them. The money SSP gets is a percentage that www.mp3.com would have gotten anyway.

Yes. If you already have .mp3 files of your songs, you can upload them at http://www.mp3.com/soundslave. Look under the heading "dropbox". Then, click on "add to dropbox" and follow the directions. We will review the song. You should also e-mail us at soundslave@hotmail.com to tell us that you've sent a song.
